Coming in to the rails project from just learning Sinatra, you would say “well that was helpful…” . Which is essentially the whole point of rails really. It’s a whole lot of help, which you would really really need especially if you are faced at a task to implement complex logic. What it does, is make things rather conversational. Now, it is not by all means without its challenges, you would still have to put an of effort into understanding a good portion, and it just get easier the more you play around with it and it really does have a LOT to it.

With that I made my project The Overland, inspired by randomly getting recommended by YouTube while I was looking up “deserts in northern america”(true story).

This is to those of you who like outdoors and four wheelin. What I had made is an app where you would have a profile and the trusty rig that you have then you would be able to log your travels with it, you can enter coordinates and link up google maps on the exact location where you did your overlanding.
